GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INVESTIGATION/ PROCEDURE
- For serving Govt. of
India employees coming under CGHS/CSMA rules, the advice
issuing authority is CGHS/Govt. Specialist/ Concerned Specialist of any
CGHS empanelled HCO.
- For CGHS pensioners, the permission issuing authority is CGHS.
- Generally, permission is not required for
treatment at any Government Hospital. However, as some of the Govt.
hospitals in Bangalore are providing credit facilities to CGHS Pensioners,
the permission issuing authority is CGHS.
